Single Panel Comics

Image
Above are two examples of single panel comics. For this project, we were tasked with making our own. I had a few problems in the beginning when creating my comic. My files kept going into zip files and I couldn't figure out how to fix it but I was finally able to get it under control. Below is my final single panel comic. I really love how it turned out. I did a lot of modifying to my figures and vectors. I used many vet=ctor photos that had many components to them and cut out the pieces I wished to use. I really wanted to do something with a chinchilla because I have a chinchilla and I just love her so much. Not many people know what a chinchilla is but I think this joke still would make sense to anyone reading it. I used the hippy and the flower and rainbow as well as putting hair and sunglasses on the chinchilla to really bring out the "chill-chill" part of the joke. Overall I'm pretty happy with how it turned out! Blow is my finished project.

PIZZA

Image
Today we used different shapes on adobe illustrator to create a pizza. We used a sample picture to kind of copy to create our own cartoon pizza. I had a really fun time creating it. I used the gradient tool to add color gradient to my pepperoni and crust.  Today when completing the pizza logo we added a little pizza drip using the shape builder tool and added some text. I really like how this final product turned out! We learned how to put the pizza design onto a business card and shirt. It was a cool experience learning how to transfer a design onto an actual useable product. Overall I really enjoyed this project and had fun learning how to use adobe illustrator.

GREAT AMERICAN WEST PERSONAL

Image
This piece I took a picture with a little spaceship in space and a buzz lightyear photo and combined them. I cut out the spaceship and added buzz to where it once was. I made it have a grainy texture because I kind of wanted it to look like an old video game and I think it turned out okay. I wish I could've done the words a little;e better to match but overall I think it turned out pretty cool!
